Support during COVID-19

The outbreak of COVID-19 has presented many challenges for the entire CQUniversity community, forcing us to change how we live, work and study. In these unprecedented times, please know that your University is here to support you.

The information on this page outlines how we're supporting students during COVID-19.

Financial Support and Scholarships

Students may be eligible to access emergency financial support through dedicated scholarships and the CQUniCares emergency grants program. Due to the overwhelming demand on the CQUniCares fund, students who are facing severe financial hardship are being prioritised at the present time. CQUni Careers

The CQUni Careers Team has established the COVID-19 Job Search Support resource centre that guides students to find casual, part-time, temporary and ongoing opportunities, including websites and skill areas that are currently hiring/in demand. Additionally, the team also regularly promotes employment opportunities via The CQUni Careers Facebook page which is a great way for students to see updates and via the online job board. Opportunities across Australia are advertised, and students can filter their settings by location and job type.

Campuses open

Despite learning and teaching being delivered online, all CQUni campuses continue to remain open for students to access support, resources and facilities including computer labs, libraries and WiFi. Please check with your local campus for more information on opening times and access.
