Tutorial Assistance for Indigenous Students
The Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS) provides funding for tutorial assistance to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students who require learning assistance in their formal course of study, at no cost to the student.
Once your application is received, a matching process to a suitably qualified LA will be undertaken to ensure you receive the appropriate tutoring required. In some instances, you may receive assistance from more than one LA, depending on your nominated units. Once you have been matched with an LA, the Coordinator will email you with your LA contact details.
Student preferences for face-to-face tutoring will try to be met, however, this option may not be available and other methods of tutorial delivery such as Skype, telephone, or email may be used.
If you have any further questions regarding the tutorial assistance program or the progress of your application, please email the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
