About Chloe

Hello! My name is Chloe and I grew up in Townsville, completing both my Primary & Secondary Education here.

Through CQUniversity I was able to pursue my passion for Music from Townsville via On-Campus and Distance Education in the Bachelor of Music (Performance). My devotion to Music and a culmination of the Arts has always been and continues to be my biggest passion, particularly focused on Far North Queensland.

My goal is to further pursue studies in Secondary Education, Majoring in Music and what better way to learn more about what you love than teaching it. I'm one of the first streams of on-campus Music Performance Students to come through and have loved studying at CQU Townsville and support everything they have to offer. Therefore, I encourage you to bring forward any ideas you may have to my Let's Talk session so we can further enhance campus-life and distance education for Townsville based students.

Wednesdays 10 am

South Australia Region Higher Education Student Representative, Emily Bryson is online from 10 am - 11 am (AEST).

Join the drop in on Zoom.

About Emily

Hello, I’m Emily and I am passionate about sustainability and transforming waste into resources. Earlier this year, I participated in the City of Adelaide’s Community Leaders in Sustainability program where I co-designed a project to help educate university students on easy and affordable ways to reduce their carbon footprint. I love gardens, crafting, snacks, naps, and most of all, dogs!

In 2016, I joined the CQUni community while studying the inaugural Graduate Certificate in Permaculture Design. I’m currently doing a Master of Applied Science by research and where I’m investigating the feasibility of composting dog poo for use on edible gardens.

As a distance student, I understand the challenge of feeling isolated from lecturers, resources and fellow classmates. Fortunately, the other Adelaide-based permaculture students and I formed a close study group and friendships that made our overall experience so much more rewarding. Now that I’m doing research, I look forward to getting to know more students and helping us stay connected to the broader CQUniversity community.
