Log your IT Requests Online
The IT Service Desk Online (https://tasac.cqu.edu.au) is a web-based program that enables students and staff to log their IT service requests and enquiries with the IaTD Service Centre. Once you submit an IT request, a reference number will be sent to your CQUniversity student or staff email account.
A user guide (PDF) is available if you require help using the IT Service Desk Online.
Library changes search sign in
From Tuesday, 12 December 2017, some library users will notice a change to the sign on experience. This is to bring EBSCO, a provider of our online databases and ebooks, in to a Single Sign On (SSO) experience for you.
When you first access your My EBSCOhost account or an ebook provided by EBSCO, if you already have an existing account, you will be given the option to either link your existing EBSCOhost account, or create a new one. Below is an image of the page you will see.
CQUniversity recommends you select the ‘link your existing account option’, to avoid losing any searches, alerts, articles or ebooks you have previously saved.
Though EBSCO may sound unfamiliar to you, you may have set up an account if you had a folder to save searches or items when using ‘Discover It’, or if you’ve downloaded an ebook provided by EBSCO.
If you need help, please contact the Technology and Services Assistance Centre (TaSAC) ext. 59090 | 1300 666 620 | email@example.com.
