CQUniversity is dedicated to supporting our students along the self-guided journey that is university study. We've put together our Get Optimistic About Learning program to provide you with tools, tips and inspiration to help you overcome obstacles and meet your full potential. Being a university student can sometimes feel like a journey of roundabouts and wrong turns. The path to success is often challenging. It's important to remember there are no shortcuts and the journey to reaching your study goals is unique. Consider this program a pit stop, a place to unwind, cool down and recharge before you need to hit the road again.
The GOAL program contains information, activities and exercises through which you can learn strategies for optimism and how to apply these in your day-to-day activities. The primary aim of this self paced program is to help you become more resilient to stress and ultimately more effective in your study at university.
Scan through the eight topic areas and take time to view those that appeal to your personal situation. Also, it is worth noting that some of the resources are templates including term and weekly planners to help you get started each term.
