MyCQU - Uni Mental Health Day 2019

Uni Mental Health Day 2019

USE YOUR VOICE! #UniMentalHealthDay

The 6th University Mental Health Day will be held across Australia and New Zealand on Tuesday, 7 May 2019. The theme for this year is 'Use your voice'.

Evidence suggests one in five adults will suffer a mental health disorder in any 12 months (ABS 2008). Moving away from home for the first time, academic pressures and sleeping problems make university students particularly vulnerable. University Mental Health Day aims to raise awareness of the mental health and wellbeing needs of university students and staff.

This year’s University Mental Health Day is all about the power of using your voice. Help us shape the future of student mental health as we inspire conversations, take action, and create change.
